Booster Meetings
Most meetings are held on campus in the drama room (room 412) and via Zoom at 6:30pm, but will be rescheduled exclusively to Zoom if COVID restrictions require. Anyone, including students, are welcome to attend. It is the best way to learn more about what events are coming up and how you can help support your drama student. See CALENDAR page for meeting dates.

Our elections are held at the May meeting in Spring Semester and/or shortly after Back to School Night in the Fall Semester for unfilled positions. If you are a board member, your term will run from July 1 to June 30 the following year. Please note that VUSD policies state VUSD employees may not hold a board position. The elected board positions are as follows:
We also have many specialized jobs that do not require electing (unless more than one person is interested in a particular position). For a detailed description of chairperson duties for each task, please email [email protected]. Please note that VUSD policies state VUSD employees may not hold a chair position.

For those who are unable to commit to a specific office/chair, we offer a “Member At Large” option. This applies to any adult helping the department on an as-needed basis. This option is not considered a board member but may vote at any meetings.

- A Signup Genius link will go out via email for donations and event volunteering. Watch for these signups so you can lend a hand, if possible!
- Attend booster meetings to help plan upcoming events and get ahead on what is happening behind-the-scenes in RBV Drama.
Volunteers & Donations Needed
There are tons of parents working behind the scenes to help make your student's drama experience the best it can be. Your help is appreciated too! This department could not function without the help of the amazing parents and guardians who dedicate their time to such a great cause. If you cannot donate your time, then consider donating requested items for events or making a tax-deductible donation. See the DONATION NEEDS section for a current list of items we could really use.
