The handbook covers info about RBV Drama including expectations, pricing, and information about classes, clubs, field trips, and productions.

January

  • January 1-6 - Winter Break Continued
  • January 7 - School Resumes
  • January 8 & 9 - Spring Show Audition & Callbacks
  • Student Audition Form Due - student responsibility. The link is on the STUDENT tab of the main website and a QR code is on the drama room door.
  • January 9 - ITS (CA State Thespian Festival) Festival Deposit Due, $150
  • January 12 - Spring Show Rehearsal Begins
  • January 13 - CETA Chaperone Meeting, Zoom, 6:30pm- only chaperones need to attend. 
  • Jan 16, 17, 18 - California Educational Theatre Association Festival (CETA Festival)
  • January 19 - NO SCHOOL
  • January 22 - Booster Meeting, 6:30pm, Drama Rm
    • Spring Show Guardian Meeting, Zoom (Guardian Form Reminder + Fee Reminders/Order Forms for Merch/Payment Options/Contacts) - The link is above (GUARDIAN FORM), The Order Form is linked in the STUDENT tab of the main website. ​
  • January 28 (week of) - RBV Road Show
  • January 30 - Ranch Revue

February

  • Registration for ITF (International Thespian Festival - Bloomington, IN) opens in February
    • ITF Informational Meeting via Zoom at some point this month
  • February 3 - Spring Show Parent Forms/Payment Plan Arrangement Due - The link is above (GUARDIAN FORM), The Order Form is linked in the STUDENT tab of the main website. ​
  • February 26 - Booster Meeting, 6:30pm, ZOOM
  • February 16 - 20 - NO SCHOOL
  • February 23 - Spring Show $$$ Due - The link to the SCHOLARSHIP REQUEST is on the STUDENT tab of the main website, must be completed by the student.

March

  • March 4 - Spring Show Gala, PAC, Time: TBA
  • March 5, 6, 7 - Spring Show Performances, PAC, Time: 7:00pm

  • March 10 - Possible Middle School Show Performance for Spring Show, during school hours - TBD
  • March 11 - Club Carnival-school hours
    • Check-in with your student. Your Student may ask you to make or bring something snack like for them to hand out or sell during the event
  • March 11, 12, 13 - Spring Show Performances, PAC, Time: 7:00pm
  • March 14, 15, 16 (yes, a Monday!) - ITS Festival, Pomona College & Bridges Auditorium
  • March 19 - Booster Meeting, 6:30PM, Drama Room 412, Zoom)
  • March 25 - CTE: STEM Showcase, PAC (On the set of Spring Show)
    • A couple of RBV Drama/Stage Tech Students will be asked to participate
  • March 30 - Spring Break Begins

April

  • April 1-3 - Spring Break Continued
  • April 4 - School Resumes
  • April 9 - Booster Meeting, 6:30pm, Drama Rm
  • April 16, 17 - Dance 3 & Maroon Magic Show (TENTATIVE)
  • April 23, 24 - Dance 1 & Dance 2 Show (TENTATIVE)
  • TBD - IB Show: MAY BE IN APRIL, if they do one for the public. 

May

  • TBD - IB Show: MAY BE IN MAY, if they do one for the public. 
  • AP/IB Testing takes place in May (most of the month)
  • TBD - Prom, Band Banquet, Ballet Folklorico, Mariachi Banquets, Film Fest, & Grad Night are all in MAY as well. 
  • May 14 - Booster Meeting & Board Election, 6:30pm, Drama Rm
  • May 26 - Senior Awards? (Senior Families Only)
  • May 29 - Banquet (TENTATIVE)
    • Banquet date will change if Grad Night is same night

June

  • June 2-4 - Finals (Minimum Day Schedule)
  • June 3 - Graduation Practice (Minimum Day Schedule)
  • June 4 - Graduation/Last Day of School (Minimum Day Schedule)​
    • ​Sometimes RBV Drama is approached to sing the National Anthem at Graduation. Think about it now so you can make a quick decision when the time comes.
  • ITF Guardian Meeting sometime in the week prior to DEPARTURE
  • June 21-26 - International Theatre Festival (Out-of-State Field Trip in Bloomington, IN)​
